Bud Light beer recently partnered with social media influencer and trans activist Dylan Mulvaney on a new marketing campaign but faces swift and powerful backlash from all angles - like Kid Rock - on social media.

Post

Bud Light beer, an Anheuser-Busch brand alcoholic beverage, has reportedly partnered with a trans activist and social media influencer, Dylan Mulvaney, to promote the beer in an effort to boost sales. But the decision to partner has quickly faced significant backlash from other social media influencers, and one prominent musician, Kid Rock.

Mulvaney, born a biological male but is celebrating 365 days transitioning to female, has millions of social media followers on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. The influencer took to the online platforms to post a video endorsing and advertising Bud Light and offering viewers a chance to win money. Bud Light has reportedly sent Mulvaney a package of Bud Light cans featuring the trans activist's image to celebrate reaching the one-year milestone of "girlhood".

Mulvaney wrote on her Instagram, "Happy March Madness!! Just found out this had to do with sports and not just saying it's a crazy month! In celebration of this sports thing @budlight is giving you the chance to win $15,000! Share a video with #EasyCarryContest for a chance to win!! Good luck! #budlightpartner."

A second video was posted with Mulvaney in a bathtub drinking bud light from the can as part of the campaign.

Immediate Criticism

It wasn't long before the partnership spread within the online community. Several prominent figures spoke out and openly criticized Bud Light's partnership decision.

"Who the hell at @budlight thought it was a good idea to make a grown man who dresses like little girls their new spokesperson? Brands have to stop listening to their woke creative teams and get in touch with their consumer demographics," John Cardillo, a conservative commentator wrote.

Stephen Miller, a contributing editor for The Spectator stated, "Might genuinely be the weirdest thing I've ever seen in my life."

Director and video producer for official major motion picture music videos Robby Starbuck wrote on Twitter, "@budlight seems to be: We will encourage and even celebrate the erasure of men and women along with all the values you care about. They've gone totally woke. Will you ever spend your money with them now?"

Kid Rock Took It to Another Level

Cardillo, Miller and Starbuck weren't the only personalities to voice clear displeasure over Bud Light's choices in partnership.

Kid Rock, who rose to rock and roll fame as someone who openly loves beer, also took to social media to show his displeasure. But he sent a different, but very clear message to Bug Light and Anheuser-Busch. In a short video of Kid Rock posted on Twitter, he said, "Grandpa's feeling a little frisky today. Let me say something to all of you and be as clear and concise as possible."

He then turns away from the camera, lifts his automatic weapon and destroys cases of Bud Light with approximately 25 rounds. He then turns back to the camera and says, "F*** Bud Light, f*** Anheuser-Busch. Have a terrific day."
