Country Music Stars Divided Over Bud Light Issue, Garth Brooks Comes Out As A Bud Light Supporter

The Bud Light saga is still making headlines as it continues to lose money. Now country music stars are divided over the issue, but Brooks shows support.

Nashville, TN: Since Bud Light chose to have a transgender social media influencer endorse the beer, the Anheuser-Busch brand has been upside down.

They have lost billions of dollars. Countless liquor stores have returned mountains of Bud Light cases to distributors. And numerous celebrities have come out to either defend or criticize the beer brand.

In fact, there is a widening divide in the country music singer scene.

Country star Travis Tritt announced he will no longer offer Bud Light during his music tour for concertgoers. He also criticized the Jack Daniels brand for teaming up with drag show organizer Ru Paul.

John Rich, one of the two performers of the country band Big & Rich, took to Twitter to ask his 900k followers what beer should replace Bud Light at his Nashville bar, Redneck Riviera. He also criticized drag shows and labeled them as ‘dirty dancing’ for children.

“Why would any adult of any persuasion want to dirty dance for children? I can only think of one reason, and it ain’t good,” he tweeted

And in a viral video, Kid Rock took to his social media accounts and literally blasted Bud Light by gunning down cases of the beer with a high-powered automatic rifle. His distaste for the Bud Light brand was unmistakable as he ended the viral video by saying, “f*** Bud Light”.

However, there have also been country singers who have supported Bud Light’s partnership with the social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney or shown general support towards the trans community.

Zach Bryan took to Twitter and told his followers that, “insulting transgender people is completely wrong,” but still mentioned there was no disrespect towards Travis Tritt.

Reba McEntire stated she was disappointed in a Tennessee law restricting drag shows where minors may be in public places.

But the most recent and one of the most notable country music singers to voice support of Bud Light is Garth Brooks.

Brooks is in the process of opening a new Nashville bar, Friends in Low Places, and has publicly announced he will be selling Bud Light beer.

In a recent interview, Garth Brooks said, “I want it to be a place you feel safe in," he said. "I want it to be a place where you feel like there are manners and people like one another. And yes, we’re going to serve every brand of beer. We just are. It’s not our decision to make. Our thing is this: if you [are let] into this house, love one another."

He continued, “If you’re an asshole, there are plenty of other places on Lower Broadway."

Alternatives

If you are a conservative and only want to support other conservative country music performers like Travis Tritt, John Rich, and Kid Rock, check out:

  • Jason and Brittany Aldean. In a recent interview, Brittany told Fox News that she and Jason receive much public support for voicing their conservative views. She said, “It’s so much bigger than us… We have to do what’s right for our future children and our future generations.”
  • Morgan Wallen. Wallen has been a longtime Biden critic, and people know it. When he opened his tour in Madison Square Garden last year, his fans started the concert with “f*** Joe Biden” and “Let’s go Brandon.”

I’m from Garth Brooks state Oklahoma & always had respect for him but if he is for the misguided, mentally & chemically imbalanced transgender .5% then he supports the end of the human population. They cannot procreate & that alone should prove they have serious issues. I’m embarrassed that Garth is from Oklahoma but then again he is from the OSU side & they’re the losers in Oklahoma. What Garth thinks doesn’t represent Oklahoma nor does it matter what he thinks. Just because he has money doesn’t mean shit to me. Nor does he period.
